This is not for everyone.
That's the point.

This is NOT for you if…

You're still in the daydream phase and haven't committed to actually going
You want someone to do the work for you without putting in the hours yourself
You're not willing to look honestly at your financial situation
You have a timeline longer than 2 years and no urgency to move it forward now
You want general inspiration content, not a step-by-step operational plan

This IS for you if…

You've been in research mode for 6+ months and need a structured plan to actually execute
You want to move in the next 6–18 months and need a cohort of people doing the same thing
You're ready to calculate your real financial runway — including what to sell and in what order
You want accountability, not just information — someone to check in with every week
You want to make your country decision and visa plan in 6 weeks, not 6 more months

Six weeks. Four stages. One real plan.

Each week maps to a stage of the M.O.V.E. Method™. Every session ends with a deliverable — not homework, not journaling. An actual output you'll use in your move.

Week 1
M — Map Your Mindset

Decide what you're actually building

  • What "moving abroad" actually means for your specific situation
  • The 4 move types: temporary, permanent, base + travel, seasonal
  • Identifying and dismantling your specific blockers
  • Setting your target move date (the number that changes everything)
Week 3
O — Own Your Financial Runway (cont.)

Banking, taxes, and money that moves with you

  • Setting up Wise, Charles Schwab, and the accounts you'll actually need
  • US taxes as an expat: FEIE basics without the jargon
  • How to keep getting paid — remote payroll, invoicing, 1099 abroad
  • The financial setup checklist: nothing gets left behind
Week 5
V — Venture to Your Country (cont.)

Logistics that most people get blindsided by

  • Pet relocation — the documentation, timeline, and what changes when an animal is involved
  • Health insurance options: SafetyWing vs. local plans vs. travel policies
  • Shipping vs. storage vs. liquidating — the real math
  • Building your pre-departure master checklist
Week 6
E — Establish Abroad

Your first 30 days abroad, planned before you leave

  • The first-30-days framework: what to do in what order when you land
  • Building your local network before you arrive
  • Troubleshooting: what to do when things don't go as planned
  • Your complete move plan: date, country, visa, runway, housing, execution

What you get across
the 6 weeks.

📋

Relocation Readiness Report™

Your personalized country shortlist, visa path, and preliminary runway number — a branded MATK document built from your specific situation before the cohort begins.

📹

6 Weekly Live Group Calls

Not a webinar. Not a pre-recorded course. One 90-minute live session each week where Kimberly works through that stage with your cohort — your specific questions, your blockers, your situation. You leave each call with a completed deliverable, not just notes. Every session is recorded so you never lose access.

👥

Private Cohort Community

A closed group of 10–15 women doing the same thing at the same time. Accountability, shared research, and the kind of support you can't get from a Facebook group of strangers.

🗂️

The Full Move Abroad Toolkit

The $47 Toolkit is included — country comparison database, visa decision tree, scouting trip checklist, runway calculator. Your reference library for the entire program.

📊

Financial Runway Calculator

A working calculator — not a PDF worksheet. Put in your assets, your target country, your lifestyle requirements. Get your real number. We use this together in Week 3.

Scouting Trip Checklist (47 Items)

The exact checklist used by Kimberly on every scouting trip. 47 items — each one exists because something was missed without it. Not a generic travel checklist.

Proprietary Deliverable

Your personalized
move abroad roadmap.

Every cohort member receives a Relocation Readiness Report™ before Week 2 begins. This is not a worksheet you fill out yourself. It's a document produced by Kimberly from your intake — built around your specific income type, assets, timeline, and priorities.

It replaces months of scattered research with a single, organized document you can actually execute from.

  • Your top 1–2 country matches with reasoning
  • The specific visa category you qualify for in each country
  • Visa requirements, timeline, and application steps
  • Preliminary financial runway number
  • Asset liquidation priority order
  • Your 5 immediate next steps
  • Pet logistics notes (if applicable)

MoveAbroadToolkit.com · M.O.V.E. Method™

I built the M.O.V.E. Method™ because I needed it and it didn't exist.

I'm Kimberly — founder of MoveAbroadToolkit and the person who will be leading every call in this cohort. Not a hired coach. Not a guest expert. Me, every week, for 6 weeks.

Everything in this program is something I've personally navigated. The financial runway calculation is the formula I used. The scouting trip checklist is what I brought to South Africa. The visa guidance is what I learned going through the actual application.

Why this matters for you:

3 months in Paris navigating the Schengen 90-day rules — I know exactly where that math breaks down and how to structure your stay before you overstay
South Africa long-stay visa secured — including the notarization vs. apostille step that trips up almost every applicant
Funded my move by selling my house at COVID peak, car to CarMax, everything else on Facebook Marketplace — the liquidation sequence I teach in Week 3 is exactly what I did
Scouting trips in France and South Africa before committing — the 47-point checklist came from what I nearly missed
Relocated with my dog — I know the microchip standards, health certificate timing, and which countries will turn you away at the gate

"Most people in this space are writing about moving abroad. I've done it — in two countries, with a visa, with a dog, funded entirely by liquidating my American life. The cohort is me teaching you the system I built from all of that."

The M.O.V.E. Cohort is intentionally small — 10 to 15 people per round. That's not a marketing tactic. It's how you get real answers to your specific situation in a group setting, instead of generic advice that could apply to anyone.

6 weeks. The full plan built and executed with Kimberly and a small group. This is where the decisions from the Planning Call become an actual move.

The execution layer.
💡
Planning Call vs. Cohort — the difference in one sentence

The Planning Call is the decision — one hour to choose your country, visa, and runway number, packaged into your Relocation Readiness Report™. The Cohort is the execution — 6 weeks of walking through that plan stage by stage, with accountability and a group of people doing the same thing. They stack: if you've already done a Planning Call, your Report carries directly into Week 1 of the Cohort. If you haven't, the Report is built into your cohort onboarding at no extra cost.

One price. Everything included.

Before you join the waitlist.

The Planning Call is a one-hour session to make three decisions: country, visa, runway number. The Relocation Readiness Report™ comes out of that session. The Cohort is the 6-week program that walks you through executing on those decisions — with a group of people doing the same thing. The Planning Call is a decision. The Cohort is the plan you execute from it. They stack — the Report from the Planning Call feeds directly into Week 1 of the Cohort.
No — the Relocation Readiness Report™ is included as the Week 1 onboarding for every cohort member. You don't need to have booked a Planning Call separately. If you have already done one, your Report carries forward and we skip that step.
No. Week 3 (Stage O) is specifically built around the asset liquidation path — selling your home, your car, your belongings — as an alternative to remote income. This is how Kimberly funded her own move. If you do have remote income, the runway calculation just looks slightly different. Both paths are covered.
Pet logistics are explicitly part of the Week 4 country decision session — because they affect which countries are viable. Kimberly relocated with her dog and knows the microchip standards, health certificate timing, and carrier restrictions firsthand. Your Readiness Report will include pet logistics notes if applicable.
